What is Gaming Scorekit?

Gaming ScoreKit is a simple and easy to use application that allows you to record your game scores from multiple games. You can set four statistics that are recorded for each game, plus the standard win, lose or draw data.

How do I get Gaming Scorekit?

  1. Head over to the Gaming Scorekit webpage and press the 'Download' button.
  2. Click any run buttons that may pop up.
  3. Press the install button on the window titled 'Application Install' when it appears.
  4. Wait for the install to complete.
  5. Press run one last time on the window titled 'Open File' when it appears.
  6. Gaming Scorekit is now installed.

What do I need to use Gaming Scorekit?

To use Gaming ScoreKit you must first have a Microsoft Windows 7 or newer operating system. You must also have the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or later. You do not need any other resources.

What platform does Gaming Scorekit run on?

Gaming Scorekit currently only runs on Microsoft Windows 7 and newer operating systems.

Is Gaming Scorekit safe?

Absolutely. When you download Gaming Scorekit you can be sure that no personal data will leave your computer. You do not have to give Gaming Scorekit administrative privileges and he never downloads files.

Do I need an internet connection?

The only time you need an internet connection is when you install Gaming Scorekit. After this, no internet connection is required.

How do I uninstall Gaming Scorekit?

  1. Head over to control panel by pressing Windows+R and typing "Control Panel" (without quotations).
  2. Click on "Programs and Features" and then "Uninstall a program".
  3. Find Gaming Scorekit in the list of programs, select it and press "Uninstall/Change" at the top.
  4. A window titled "Gaming Scorekit Maintenance" will appear.
  5. Select "Remove the application from this computer" and hit OK.
  6. Gaming Scorekit is now uninstalled from your PC. Some files, for example custom commands, will remain on your PC and can be deleted manually.

Game Profiles

What is a Game Profile?

A Game Profile is a score template for one game that allows you to add specific fields of data to your recorded scores. For example, you may play Team Fortress 2 and your fields of data might be: Kills, Deaths, Assists and Class.

How do I create a new Game Profile?

Start by pressing the 'Game Profile' button in the bottom left corner of the main window to bring up the Game Profiles window. On the right hand side of this window is the 'New Game Profile' section that allows you to create a Game Profile. The data required in each of the fields is as follows:

  • Command: This is what you say to Jarvis to initiate the command.
  • Response: This is what Jarvis will say back to you when the command has been executed.
  • Game: This is the name of the game you would like to record scores for, e.g. Team Fortress 2.
  • Data Type: Here you can select either Text or Number and this relates to what type of data you would like to record. Text is for text values of data, for example if you would like to record what the name of your character was in a particular game. Number is for numeric values of data, for example if you would like to record how many points you got in a particular game.
  • Title of Data: This is the name of the data you are recording for that one field. For example you might choose a value like 'Points', 'Character', 'Game Time' or 'Rounds'.

To confirm your new Game Profile, press the 'Save' button in the middle of the window.

How do I delete a Game Profile?

Start by pressing the 'Game Profile' button in the bottom left of the main window to bring up the Game Profiles window. On the left hand side of this window is the list of your current Game Profiles. Select the one you wish to delete and the 'Delete' button will be highlighted in the middle of the window. Press this and a prompt will ask you whether you want to delete the Game Profile or not, press 'Yes' to delete the Game Profile or 'No' to cancel.

How do I export and import Game Profiles?

Exporting Game Profiles

Start by pressing the 'Game Profile' button in the bottom left of the main window to bring up the Game Profiles window. On the left hand side of this window is the list of your current Game Profiles. Select all the ones you wish to export and the 'Export' button will be highlighted in the middle of the window (to select a consecutive group of Game Profiles, click the first item, press and hold down the Shift key and then click the last item. To select non-consecutive Scores, press and hold down the Ctrl key and then click each item that you want to select). Press the 'Export' button and then select a folder to export the selected Game Profiles into.

Importing Game Profiles

Start by pressing the 'Game Profile' button in the bottom left of the main window to bring up the Game Profiles window. In the middle of the window is an 'Import' button where you can either press to browse for a Game Profile folder, or drag a Game Profile folder onto it. If the Game Profile is valid, a success message will be displayed and it will be automatically accessible throughout the application.

Scores

How do I add a new score?

Start by selecting the game you wish to record a score for from the Game Profiles list on the left hand side of the main window. This will bring up the 'Add a Score' section where you can select whether you won, lost or drew the game and fill in the fields of data you set up in your Game Profile. To confirm your new score, press the 'Save' button below the fields, alternatively you can select 'Cancel' if you do not wish to save the score.

How do I view my scores?

Start by pressing the 'Game History' button in the bottom right corner of the main window to bring up the Game History window. Next, select the game you wish to view the scores for, from the Game Profiles list on the left hand side of the window. On the right hand side of this window a list of all your scores will appear that contains your custom fields of data. You can view the date the score was recorded and the outcome of the game (win, loss or draw) by hovering over it with your mouse.

How do I remove a score?

Start by pressing the 'Game History' button in the bottom right corner of the main window to bring up the Game History window. Next, from the Game Profiles list on the left hand side of the window, select the game you wish to delete the score from. On the right hand side of this window a list of all your scores will appear. Select the score you wish to delete by clicking on it and then pressing the 'Delete' button in the bottom right corner of the window. To select a consecutive group of Scores, click the first item, press and hold down the Shift key and then click the last item. To select non-consecutive Scores, press and hold down the Ctrl key and then click each item that you want to select.
